I was born and raised in Kenner, Louisiana (a suburb of New Orleans). I lived there until March of 2020. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana State University and Master’s of Business Administration from Louisiana State University – Shreveport. I previously worked at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in the School of Medicine, Dean’s Office working in multiple capacities. I started as a student worker while completing my Bachelor’s Degree and then started as a Fiscal Analyst in 2011.
I took a position with Postlethwaite and Netterville from 2013 to 2015 working as a Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst on the DeepWater Horizon Settlement project and realized that I wanted to get back into healthcare once the project had ended. Most recently I had returned to LSUHSC SOM in 2015 as a Fiscal Analyst and taken on the role of Family Medicine Business Manager in my most recent capacity. I moved to Sugar Land, TX in March of 2020 with my husband and two sons J (age 8) and Eli (age 10 months).
