We Can Help Answer Your Insurance Questions

Health insurance can be very complicated. At CARE we have skilled staff that can help you determine if your family’s plan provides coverage for ABA programming and/or diagnostic assessments. We can also assist with determining what benefits that you and your child with ASD are entitled to under your current plan.

Find Out What Benefits Are Available

With your permission, our Intake Manager will contact your carrier to request benefit information and then call you to discuss the options offered by your insurance company.  We will help you navigate treatment options to ensure you get appropriate services for the benefits offered.

If you don’t see your insurance provider listed, please reach out as we are constantly working to add additional health insurance carriers.

We accept Tricare insurance in the West and East regions and are ready to serve you. CARE has a very successful history of providing ABA services to active and retired military families and their dependents across the USA.

Questions To Ask Your Insurance Provider

  1. Will my policy cover Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy?
  2. Is CARE in-network with my plan?
  3. Does my policy have a “max out-of-pocket”, a co-pay, or both? If so, what are those amounts?
  4. Is there a limit how many hours of therapy my child can receive on a yearly basis?
  5. Will I need to be preauthorized or receive a referral from my primary care physician in order for my child to receive services with CARE? (If the answer is yes, then you will need to obtain the authorization prior to commencement of services)
  6. Is there a limit to the number of therapy sessions my child can receive?

No Insurance Coverage?

If CARE is not a participating provider with your insurance carrier, we will collect the fee for services upfront and provide you with detailed treatment records that you can submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement. If you need financial assistance, we have compiled a list of resources that may help offset the cost of therapy or some of the other needs your child and family may have.
